One year and nine days from the day that we were accepted as Wycliffe applicants we have received our visas from the Papua New Guinea government.
(Insert happy dance _____ here.)

Never would I have imagined that these little words would mean so much and bring hope and promise of our future:

"This permit entitles the holder to enter and stay in PNG until 06Aug14."

I know that we are unsure of when we will get to PNG. I know that we are unsure how long we will stay. I realize that we don't know how we will get there... we don't know much, but we have a promise for our future.

"For I know the plans I for you..." (Jeremiah 29:11)

He has called us and we will go. Some will send us... and we will work together to continue the work of Bible translation until all have heard.

Today was an important day. I have renewed hope through His affirmation in the arrival of our visas. One. More. Step. In our journey.  With. Him.

He is faithful... and I am excited for what is next.
