filtered: nothing good can come from THIS
Life has dealt some recent less than beautiful - or you could say ugly - things my way. When ugliness feels like it is piling up I tend to fall back on my sinfully-Sara-nature more and more. I begin to question how God could use any of THIS ugliness for good. But that is just not what He promises me in His Word. So here is my next filtered life lesson (not quite learned yet... but in the process of it all):
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end." Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV
"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them." Romans 8:28 NLT

"My suffering was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to Your Decrees." Psalm 119:71 NLT
