unlimited inner strength

Today I started preparing a list of things that we need to make this PNG thing happen for reals. Way crazy figures. Way crazy. Information overload quickly turned to stress to the max. To the max. When 12K sounds like cheap airfare you know things are "different" than what the normal person/ family is looking at for travel expenses. Oh and that is just the tip of the list...

So... then I started to hammer out this study on Ephesians again. Good book. Way good Book. Crazy good actually. :) So I was like sitting there trying to focus, but in my heart screaming to God, "there is no way that we can do this!" Then chapter 3 verse 16 hit me. I know it in the NIV, but haven't read it in the NLT recently. I was struck by two things:
1. Unlimited resources. It is gonna take a whole dang lot to get us to PNG, but God has MORE resources than we need... the details are all in order.
2. Inner Strength. Not brute strength (like the Message version says) but inner strength. Peaceful. Quiet. Maybe even silent... but oh so powerful and unlimited. Unlimited.
My list is still there. The numbers have not shrunk, but somehow this promise made them a little less daunting.
