never a dull moment
My life is never boring. For this I am thankful.
I am also thankful that my God knows exactly what I can handle. He knows where my future is headed. I am thankful that He knows how He will be glorified most effectively through my life. I am thankful that He is in control. I am thankful for His promises. And for His Word that is comfort, peace and truth. I am thankful that He isn't surprised when things change and has purposed all things for good in my life. Even the things that seem bad.
Those things said. Marty does not have a job after June third. Ruh-roh... (I will spare all the details here but feel free to ask me anything personally if you need clarification.) As of yet, partnership development has not exactly been "easy". Now things seem to be even more insane... Here are all the PD details as of May 25, 2011: our support is at 26% (of which more than 15% is pledged only - which translates to us currently having a very large deficit each month with Wycliffe because of medical insurance premiums).
What are we gonna do? I dunno. I do know that this is temporary. Life on earth is supposed to keep us hoping of eternity. I know that I am not in control and that God provides and takes away for what is my best outcome. I know that He has been faithful and will continue to be. I know nothing of what will happen with my circumstances. But this I know. I know Him.
"We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them." Romans 8:28
"Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think." Ephesians 3:20
"I have called you by name; you are mine." Isaiah 43:1b
"Remember the things I have done in the past. For I alone am God! I am God, and there is none like me. Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish." Isaiah 46:10-11
"O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by Your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for You!" Jeremiah 32:17
